How to play the stock market

How many stocks do you have in your databases for analyzing?
There's currently about 5000 stocks in our databases. But not all of them are shown on our stock lists, only the ones that have been admitted to be "okay" by our stock analysis system.

How often are the prices updated? And is it all real-time?
The prices are captured with 15-20 minute delay and they are being updated every 15 minutes. Keep in mind that the US markets are only open from 9.30am to 16.00pm ET. This means that our system will show you the correct prices starting from 9.50am.

I'd like you to change something on your site, is that possible?
Yes, it is, but you do need to be very specific about what you want to get changed. If we feel it's a worthwhile idea, we will change it. You can email your ideas to investing@investingexperience.com

How to play the stock market game at InvestingExperience.com?
Basically you just need to go through the stock lists available on our site, decide which stock you want to buy and then do it. And if you want to do it right, do the daytrading like the pros do - buy and sell multiple times a day! It's all free...

What do all these terms mean??? Ask, bid, selling short...etc
The easiest way for you to learn about these terms would be to go to http://www.nasdaq.com/reference/glossary.stm. There's probably about 100 different terms available. But for just a short introduction of some main terms you will see here at InvestingExperience, see below:

Bid: This is the price a buyer is willing to pay for your security.
Ask: This is the price for which a seller is willing to pay his security.
Open: Price of a stock when the market opens for trading.
Close: Last price of a stock in the trading day.
Short Selling: A short sale is a sale of a stock you do not own. Investors who sell short believe the price of the stock will fall. If the price drops, you can buy the stock at the lower price and make a profit. If the price of the stock rises and you buy it back later at the higher price, you will incur a loss. Click here for some more information about it.
